We understand that keeping data secure is critical for companies and their customers. Data security is at the core of every element of our product. Here’s how Solink keeps data safe.
All interfaces and APIs to the Solink Cloud are secured using OAuth 2.0 with digitally signed JSON Web Tokens (JWT) and encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS).
Video streams are established using TLS-encrypted WebSocket connections and authenticated using JWT tokens. In addition, video streams between browsers and video sources are secured using Datagram Transport Layer Security (DTLS).
Connect devices cannot be accessed directly: user access must be authenticated from the platform API.
The Solink Cloud is hosted by Amazon Web Services (AWS) in an Amazon Virtual Private Cloud and is a multi-tier web application with access and security restrictions between your webservers, application servers, and databases.
We leverage Auth0, a leading provider of identity infrastructure, for authentication and authorization of user profiles. Auth0 enables Single Sign On, segregation of tenants, segregation of user data in the database, and ensures that no passwords are stored in clear text.
